Dilli lekin dil mein hai na? :-)

Very pretty pictures.
And just like Manasi, I'm trying to figure the same. And I can see more of you in both your grandparents. Lovely smiles!

Hmmm.... the view is very good, but when you are one of those melancholic, thoughtful moods, it starts seeming very suffocating. Happens a lot with me, does it happen with you too?

I have to tell Aritro, I've tried that a lot, but it doesn't help get any taller. :|

Sinjini, it's one thing knowing that you are a 14 year old, and another seeing it. You write far too well for your age. I couldn't write a word when I was your age. Bravo!

Nice smiles all around, and I think you look more like your dad!

Your balcony...ah! What an awesome view, really.
You obviously have a lot of thoughts.. please gulp some coffee.

You've to rock America, remember. Next year itna bhi door nahin.

Smile! (=

YAYYYYYYYYYY!! finally a post from you after SO long!! i was planning to hack yr password and write in out of desperation when u saved my life!!!! 8-)

i am so upbeat for some reason today that i will not let u miss home and be sad!!

i vil go wan by wan as per photus of my interesht...

pic 3 first -
ditto manasi's comment!
(but as i see it - it's always really nice basking in the "reflected glory" of your folks :-)) there's a lot of both of them in you - LUCKY!! i dont know whom i resemble (coz my dad is like the handsomest dude around and my ma is ummm... ok i guess! ;-) ) except a barrel with a thinning moptop maybe... :-) (strangely i am quite happy with the description!!)
btw was the pic taken when u guys were celebrating yr b'day last yr?? i usually dont forget spare ribs now hmmm... ;-)
i love the pic of riju and ms. butterfly with your grandparents - they are all such wonderful people!
and WHAT A GREAT VIEW!! wow!!!!!! it must be really nice standing out there with yr morning/ evening coffee - w-o-w!!
(where can i get a room and a balcony like that? i swear i'll not ask for anything except maybe an occasional visit to the loo!)

and hey - what can be a better feeling than knowing that they are ALL waiting for you back home! as soon as you get off that plane and let the desi air give it's first warm embrace and while u push the trolley and yrself out of the airport and into saadi dilli and folks you love - yummmm - just imagine that scene and i am sure u're smiling already!!

@ Manasi
Congratulations on MF.
Isn't it evident on first glance itself that I am my dad's daughter?

@ Aqui
Wow! Where have you been all this while?

@ D
Yep it is an awesome view. Thanks.

@ RB
Haan Dilli to hamesha hi dil mein hain. Lovely question. :)
And you can see me in my grandparents? Hmm...that's a new one, never heard this theory before.

@ Swetank
I am not sure I understood your question. I am trying to reply to all the comments on a Monday morning...brain, reflexes, all is slow.
I conveyed your message to Aritro, he has seen the wisdom behind your words. :)
Thanks on behalf of Sinjini too...haven't see her online in a while now. Must be exams or something like that.
Yes, I so totally look like my dad.

@ RT
Haan next year itna bhi door nahin. That's a cheerful thought.

@ Keka
:D Hack my password and write a post! Hee hee hee. Thank you. But why don't you get yourself a blog now?
I can't see any resemblance to my mother...I have no idea what you are talking about therefore.
Yeah it was the night of the spare ribs and the birthday too. :) Great memory Keka. I am maha impressed.
My grandparents loved you too as you must have figured out in those days itself. You are by far the only person (as far as this blog's visitors are concerned) to have met most of the people photographed here.
Now that there is a chance that you might be in Ggn yourself, the room and the balcony can be completely yours. I have told you that already.
I am smiling widely with the scene you have created here. Uff...that trolley pushing last minutes from baggage claim to outside the airport will be the longest minutes of my life. Just the thought is so massively gorgeous. Thank you. Love you.

@ Chitrangada
Nice song...works perfectly in this situation. Thank you! :)

Show them the picture as and when you can. Yeah...this was taken when we went to have dinner at Caught and Bowled. It was good food, wasn't it?
